Terms & Conditions

The applicant agrees to be legally bound to the following terms and conditions before they can use the services of Your Perfect Mate:

1. To abide by the terms and conditions and spirit of the organisation and its aims and objectives.
2. To provide accurate personal and identification information and not to mislead or abuse the system in any way whatsoever.
3. The member gives his/her consent to allow their profile with photos and video to be disclosed to Perfect Mate staff to enable suitable matches to be made.
4. The member gives his/her consent for the Perfect Mate staff to use their discretion and disclose the full profile of the member with video and photograph to any suitable matches they may think appropriate.
5. To treat the members and staff of Perfect Mate with respect.
6. To fill in all the feedback forms and return them appropriately as requested.
7. To agree not to contact individual members directly without the consent of Perfect Mate and to keep the Perfect Mate staff notified of the progress of any match accurately. If any members are later found to have contracted a marriage without informing the Perfect Mate staff, they agree to be legally bound to pay Perfect Mate the sum of £500 each for the extra administration and effort involved plus any legal costs which may become required to recover the amount.
8. To agree to pay the amounts requested by Perfect Mate for the various stages promptly as requested.
9. To agree to accept and pay for any meeting if they have made a request and the other member has accepted and paid.
10. Once payment has been made for any event it is non-refundable and forms an irrevocable contract to attend the event. If there are exceptional circumstances these must be informed to the Directors in writing, but in any event at least 48 hours before the event. Any decision to refund or not to refund is at the complete discretion of the Directors and is final.
11. Any cancellations at short notice must have good reasons, or the Directors have the discretion to cancel the membership of the person cancelling or impose any sanctions that they may deem fit.
12. To agree to notify Perfect Mate immediately once it has been agreed that the member wishes to marry.
13. To be legally bound to pay Perfect Mate the minimum gratis sum of £250 per member (although more can be given to enable the organisation to carry on its good work!) within 14 days from the date when the intention to marry has taken place.
14. The gifts Perfect Mate provides to the members who decide to marry is at the discretion of the Directors and may be different to those advertised. The offers made may be subject to specific conditions and may change from time to time.
15. No refunds are available except at the discretion of the Directors.
16. Any complaints must be made in the appropriate manner by email as indicated by the website. Any decision is at the discretion of the Directors and is final.
17. The Management reserves the right to refuse to accept, cancel, or suspend any person's application at their sole discretion.
18. If any false or misleading information has been supplied, it is within the discretion of Perfect Mate and its Directors to investigate the matter and, if proven, may decide to Name and Shame the individual on the website. This decision will not be made lightly and will be justified and transparent. If any such decision is made, this will be notified to the member by email before any individual is Named and Shamed.
19. The decision of the Directors of Perfect Mate is at their discretion and final.
20. Perfect Mate reserves the right in such a situation to be able to disclose the application with photo and videos on the website.
21. The member gives his/her irrevocable consent for their information in full, including the photo and video, to be disclosed on the website in the manner stated should such a decision be made by Perfect Mate Directors.

Liabilities and Responsibilities

Perfect Mate does not accept responsibility for:

• The character of any individual member.
• Their immigration status, which must be checked and confirmed with the member. If there is any attempt at deceiving Perfect Mate in their application, a complaint must be immediately made to Perfect Mate with details of the member alleged to be in contravention so this can be investigated.
• The accuracy of any information provided, although every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that the members abide by the strict code of conduct and compliance, otherwise sanctions will be applied.
• Perfect Mate cannot accept responsibility for any matches which lead to marriage/relationship and subsequently lead to any break up, separation, or divorce.
• Although every effort is made to ensure confidentiality, Perfect Mate cannot accept responsibility for any member who has been given confidential information due to a match leaking any information to third parties. If reported, this matter will be dealt with very strictly and could lead to the member being Named and Shamed on the website.
• Perfect Mate assumes no responsibility for the outcomes of any meetings which take place.
• Perfect Mate does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy of any advertisers who may be linked to the website.
